As the Manchester City Football Club (not to be confused with the more globally recognized Manchester United FC) partners up with the New York Yankees to create the New York City Football Club, they seek a place to call home. At first, the Flushing, Queens area seemed optimal, while soccer fans posted renderings of their dream NYCFC Stadium ideas for Pier 40. But NYCFC has quickly set their sights on the area surrounding Yankee Stadium. Convenient from Manhattan, close to their business partners and already set up for massive game time train use from nearby Yankee Stadium, the NYCFC eyes several struggling parking garages as prime stadium spots.
Where do you think the NYCFC stadium should be built, and what should it look like? Will you be going to games?
